Just when you thought being a kid in grade school couldn't get more boring, one school in Australia has banned cartwheels now claiming that they are "too dangerous."
In fact, you can't even do handstands due to the possibility of a wrist injury. Parents are criticizing this new rule.
"I don't know where it has come from, but that's what they do and they've been doing it for years and I don't know what the problem is with it," a parent told the publication.
"What happened to kids being kids and being allowed to play," a parent said to PerthNow.
School principal Shane Dougherty told Seven News the ban was not intended to prevent children from having fun but to stop them from hurting themselves.
Other Australian schools - in New South Wales and Queensland - have enforced such bans before.
