Seems Legit! School Note Says 7-Year-Old Should Play More Video Games

“Dear parents, Nathan has Been Doing good in all his classes, except for VIDEO GAME CLASS! If he does not stay up all night playing video games, He will get kicked out of school!!! Start letting him stay up all night, & start tonight! He can play anything, computer, wii, ipod, ipad, phone & any other elecktronick. From, The School”

This "totally legit" note has gone viral since one mom decided to share it to social media.  Her son brought it home from school and interestingly enough it is encouraging her son to play more video games.

The note says that he is doing well in all of his other classes but that the teachers were concerned about his performance in "VIDEO GAME CLASS."

"If he does not stay up all night playing video games, he will get kicked out of school!" The note signed "The School" read. "Start letting him stay up all night and start tonight! He can play anything, computer, Wii, iPod, iPad, phone and any other 'elecktronick.'"

Mom has since contacted her son's school to inquire about her concern in "video game class" and has learned that the note is definitely fraudulent.  Mom says that she and the teacher shared a laugh at his imagination.

While mom was quick to identify that the note was a fraud, she did reward her son for his creative attempt at lying by extending his video game time.

"He got to stay up half an hour late to study for Video Game Class," she said.

What would you do in this situation? Your very imaginative child has just lied to you with a fake note from school? Do you punish him for  lying or do you reward him?
