A South Bay high school student appeared in a video posted to social media that shows him smoking marijuana or another substance in the classroom.
In the video the student appears to be smoking something out of a homemade bong. In some other pictures that were sent in, it appears the student has seen smoking out of a glass pipe as well.
The Sweetwater Union High School District released a statement which said that parents affected by the incident have been notified and disciplinary action has been taken.
