A man was arrested on Thursday after sneaking in into the Phoenix Comicon with an arsenal of guns and knives in his costume saying that he wanted to hurt law enforcement.
Later, more details emerged that tell a more disturbing story about the gunman, including a vendetta against one of the Power Rangers.
According to police reports, 31-year-old Matthew Sterling was targeting "bad police officers" because he believed that he was the real-life version of The Punisher.
Sterling said that he was aware that real weapons were banned from the Phoenix Comicon but he didn't think that the rule applied to him because, as he claimed, he was The Punisher.
