Drama....massive drama in my mind yesterday about today being A Day Without A Woman. The protest where all us women (especially us proud tree hugging liberal women) are suppose to not show up to work. I had some female co-workers ask me yesterday if I was coming in today and I felt SHAME telling them that I was going to work. I'm all about a good protest but this one doesn't make sense to me. I feel like most Americans get the importance of women in our society in 2017. Yes one guy, our President, doesn't seem to get it but I think most other people do. So for all us women to hurt our own wallets and those of our employers to try and send a message to a clueless human doesn't make add up for me.
I support all the women who choose to protest today. Even though I came to work I am wearing all red in support. Fun fact, realized that this Star Wars t-shirt and these leggings are the only red clothing items I own..............
