Is this a hawk? Is this a small eagle? Is this a falcon? Is this a velociraptor? I have no idea. Yesterday I was a bit stressed so I decided a nice soak in the hot tub before my daughter got home from school would be just the ticket. As I walk out in my backyard this massive bird swoop into the tree right in my path to the spa. I'm walking in my bikini and I just freeze. All I can see are the talons on this bird and know in my mind that if I move to fast it will want to rip my face off. So I decided to do what any true American would do and tell my hubby to grab my phone so I can grab a selfie. Guess this guy was having a little meal. After he was done eating he flew away and I unfroze and jumped in the spa. Nature...it's crazy!
