I'm Not A Mermaid????

The sickness is real!  The sickness is everywhere!  Thursday night my daughter wasn't looking so good.  She had the runny nose, the cough was starting so we decided to keep her home from school on Friday.  Normally we are not so protective but the flu sounds horrible this year and I don't want any of us to get it.  The few times my daughter has gotten really sick is when we don't rest her when she has a cold and then it gets worse.  So when I got home from work on Friday she was super excited to play.  In the middle of our living room she constructed a new fort.  This one looked pretty kick ass and I wanted to see what was going on inside.  But that is when she showed me the sign on the door and informed me that unfortunately I am not a mermaid so I won't be allowed it.  WTF?!?!?!?  How dare she!?!?!?!  Mermaid Cove is still currently standing in our living room and maybe I'll just let myself in today to look around while she is at school.  Take that Lovelyn.  You don't tell me I'm not a mermaid!!!!!
