After hearing about it for years, I went to the Shout House downtown for the first time this weekend! It was my friend Susan's 45th bday and she was having a girls night out party to celebrate. Susan is my old -school Mom friend from back in my Escondido days. We had our kids right around the same time and bonded. We are now BFFs! It's a bummer that we don't live near each other anymore and go for our weekly walks with the kids. But we try to do a girls dinner every other month and get together for all birthdays. So Saturday night I met Susan and about 15 of her North County girls that all took a party bus down to the Shout House. We had so much fun. We kept it classy in the beginning but by the end of the night it was an all out party!
