La Jolla Junior Olympics

The 2018 La Jolla Junior Olympics were yesterday.  Every year all the elementary schools from La Jolla (public & private) get together for an Olympic style competition at the high school track.  It is put on by the La Jolla Kawanis club and it is an amazing event.  We are talking like 1,000 kids participate....it's nuts.  The kids have so much fun.  Lovelyn had a really fun year.  She made the alternate spot for the relay team (fastest 8 year old girl).  We had no idea she was even a good runner.  Looks like we will be doing more track activities in the future.  And she placed 2nd in her group for the running broad jump.  Despite my alleged hangover from going to a Martini Party the night before I was able to get this awesome shot of her winning jump................
