Over the weekend we decided to dive deep into my daughter closet and clean out some old bins of toys and stuff that we haven't opened in months if not years. Our daughter is 8 and has recently taken the turn from "baby" toys to toys and activities made for young adults. FML!!!!! Anyway we are turning this into a good excuse to clean out all her old crap and donate the stuff to kids who do appreciate "baby" toys. Back with all her toy bins we found some bins of old sporting equipment. This one was easy to sort until we got the the hubby's old football gear. I get wanting to keep your old jersey for memories but the pads, helmet, shoes, etc.... Do we really need to keep all that? I could tell that it was a hard decision for him to make to get rid of the stuff. It made it even harder when our daughter decided to put on the gear and run around the house..........
