Happy Halloween!!!! The other day we had some family friends over to see the house we just bought and are totally renovating. One of the family's young kids looked at the outside of the house with it's rotting and pealing siding and said "Mommy, is this a haunted house?". Nope, it's not haunted....it's just Sky's house! 😊
Yesterday that hubby was working away at more demo. Each time I go over I feel like he has done so much demo already but there is just more and more to go. We are trying real hard to save money since this project is going to take every penny we got. Where we waste the most money is eating out. So instead of picking up lunch for me and the hubby I went home and made us a lunch to bring over. I could tell the hubby was not stoked when he saw the bag from home instead of the to-go bag from someplace delicious. But we saved a few bucks yesterday. Here is my delicious homemade lunch of turkey cheese sliders on pretzel buns with fruit and Pop chips. Our current "dining" table is a card table that we set up in the backyard..........
After lunch we were hanging out waiting for a guy to show up for a solar quote. This is when I realize I need to tinkle. Was not a fan of the current bathroom situation!!!! With all the walls down, no window coverings and our backyard empty awaiting hedges to be installed.....not much privacy for going potty. The hubby did his best to create a privacy barrier with a painting drop cloth........
