Yesterday was a good day at Sky's Old House. We have legit had trenches running through every room in our house since February. We are redoing everything including the sewer and plumbing, thus the trenches. After a two month permit delay kept us having to jump over trenches each day and enter the house like we were competing on American Ninja Warrior...we are now finally all filled with concrete!!!!! As amazing as filling trenches is, the thing I am most excited about is they poured the slab for our new bathroom. This bathroom area use to be an outdoor atrium when we are now turning into a pool/guest bathroom. Days like yesterday make me so excited to see the finished product!!! Hopefully by early August it will actually be a livable home. :)
