This past Sunday my daughter's Girl Scout troop, which I am a co-leader, graduated. In the world of Girl Scouts it is called "bridging" when the girls go from one troop level to the next. We are going from being Brownies to being Juniors next year. So we booked the area at the La Jolla Rec Center and had a great afternoon. We had lunch, played games, did crafts, the girls bridged and then we gave out troop awards. I was in charge of the awards. So I made little bags with candy and a little trophy and then put a crafty tag on it that said our troop, the year and what award they won. It was a great year, but with 22 girls in our troop I think we are all ready for a nice little summer break!
