Whoopsie....looks like we might have had a little issue with Emily's paddle board. If you haven't heard of Emily's infamous paddle board, let me give you the short version. Emily had a paddle board that she rarely used cause she lives out in La Mesa. When Thor moved to the bay she offered it to him. He could store it and use it until she wanted it back. Thor recently moves out to Jamul and after a brief mention of it to Emily, Thor gives me the board to hold and use till Emily wants it back. Emily was a bit butt-hurt in the swap that she wasn't more in the loop. Thor and I didn't think it was that big of deal.
The other day, since we are currently staying on the bay, the daughter and I decided to take the paddle board out. I am normally her paddle board taxi. But with her getting older I wanted her more involved this time in paddling and helping to carry the board. The board has a life vest attached to it by some super weathered elastic straps. As the daughter goes to help me "carry" the board, she grabs a strap and that was when it broke. Hopefully Emily will be chill about it and understand these things break especially when they are out in the water and sun all the time. I already have a replace strap on order so everyone can just calm down!!!!
