Dog Crazy!!!!!

My daughter is and has been for the last year, dog crazy. She wants a dog so freaking bad! She has even broken into tears multiple times when she sees a dog that is "too cute". I have never had a dog. I don't dislike dogs. But I prefer cats. So in my mind once we got settled in our new house our family was going to get a cat. But my daughter has a very different plan. I've kinda been hoping that this was just a phase but after a full year she still has not let it go. Yesterday the universe was totally against me when our neighbor asked our daughter to walk her little dog around the block. We were helping our neighbor with a project and she could tell both the dog and our daughter were getting antsy. OMG....the joy and pride she had walking that dog was so cute. I had to take a picture. So of course this just convinced her even more that she must have a dog. And this all went down yesterday on National Cat Day. Lame!!!
