Puppy Coat

Our puppy Nugget is now such a big boy at 4 months old and a massive 8 pounds! We are still working out some of the potty and teething/biting issues. But overall he is a really good boy and we love him so much. If you remember the main thing that my daughter was concerned about when getting her puppy was it's size (she wanted a small dog) and the color of his coat. My daughter really wanted a brown dog....she wanted to name him Toast. But trying to get your hands on a cute puppy right before Christmas doesn't give you all the choices int he world. So when we saw our Nugget he was way more black than brown. But she loved and wanted him anyway. Now that Nugget is getting older his coat is totally changing. We needed to get him groomed but I'm scared if they cut his top layer of fur off my daughter is going to come home from school one day to a white dog. It will be interesting to see how this little guy changes over time, here he is as a puppy and then what his coat looks like today..........
