Cracked Walls

Fun fact, the hubby and I own a rental home. Since we are both such real estate nerds and the hubby is so handy it has always been a dream of ours to be landlords. About 5 years ago we had saved up enough to buy a tiny little house with a nice yard in a great neighborhood to rent out. We fixed the little house up and as you may or may not know Thor was actually our first tenant. Thor liked the house and neighborhood but wasn’t a fan of his roommate scenario. We have had the sweetest tenants ever since. They called us the other day right after it had rained for a few days straight to let us know that a river was running though the garage. WTF??? They hubby goes out there and starts investigating and finds that the west facing garage wall is filled with cracks. I guess after years of sun the stucco couldn’t take it anymore. So the last week the hubby has been going over each day to scrape, fill, re-stucco and pain the wall. #landlordproblems
