What a beautiful weekend! Spent like 90 of sunlight hours in our yard this weekend. So much gardening to be done!!!!! Friday after leaving Eddie’s house (Quarantine Studios) I hit up Evergreen Nursery out in East El Cajon. I ended up buying over 100 flowers. We are having a bug problem (white flies) in the hedges that boarder our entire backyard. We spent so much time and money on these hedges when we bought our house a year ago. We notice a few week back that they were thinning and dropping massive leaves. After doing some research they we found they are infested with white flies. So we spent all weekend trying to get them healthy. The process....cutting out infected stuff, spraying down with high pressure hose, treat with all natural bug killer and then plant 100 Marigold flowers around them (bugs don’t like the smell of Marigolds). So that is what we did ALL weekend long. We will need to stay on top of the watering and weekly treated of the hedges. Fingers crossed we can get these guys healthy again!!!!
