Yes Sky's Old House is still a thing. I know that we have been working on this home since September of 2018...but these things take time. Since we moved in last September the remaining big projects have been moving real slow. We are always doing little projects but we have been ignoring the hard stuff. We jumped back in this weekend deciding to tackle a roll of artificial turf that has been sitting on our side yard for the last two months. We love the modern look of the big concrete squares with the grass in between. But how do you do that?? We had no clue so we have just been figuring it out as we go along. After having dirt filled grids (aka trip hazards) for MONTHS we finally got the turf cut and roughly set in place this weekend. It took the good part of two days but we finally figured it out. We still need to do final cuts, level everything and then nail it in. But it is nice to finally see some progress again!!!!!!
