Sky's Old House - Kitchen Backsplash

Another item on the to-do list that we have been talking about FOREVER! Seriously we have been having discussions about what tile to pick for our kitchen backslash for over a year and a half. The tile should have been purchased about 12 months ago when I was buying the tile for the rest of the house. But it was one of those things where we just couldn't find exactly what we wanted. So we kept putting it off, then we moved in and finally 8 months later we have picked a tile. It has that abalone effect to it so depending on where you are standing and what other colors are around, that will determine what color the tile looks like. The hubby was prepping the walls yesterday for instillation, I can't wait to see the finish product. The tile of course will go under the cabinets and then will go up behind the oven-hood vent and all the way up to the ceiling. I'll post pictures as soon as it is installed...........
