My Virtual Concert Fail

Here is where I went wrong.....thinking things were like they use to be! I was so excited for the Switchfoot BroAm on Saturday night. I love the Swtichfoot BroAm festival and concert each year. Spending all day on the beach with great music....perfection!!!! But this year due to the whole pandemic thing the BroAm had to go virtual. I knew that there were going to be about half a dozen artists performing at that the show started at 5pm Saturday night. I am stoked and can't wait. I tell the hubby and inform him that we will probably tune in about and hour after it starts to miss the early bands and see the headliners. This is our normal move when we go to any concert these days. Yes we are the old spoiled concert goers who now just come for their favorite bands and leave before their last song to beat traffic. I know, totally lame but I am 42 years old and have been to a zillion concerts so cut a girl some slack. So we switch on the BroAm a little after 6pm, hook up the Bluetooth speaker, crack a beer and we are ready to go! But I'm confused cause Switchfoot is already performing. Aren't they the headliner? They do two more songs, say thank you and good night. WTF???? Turns out I should have looked into it a bit more. Not sure if everyone did a short set or if it was only Switchfoot that started at 5. Still don't really know what happened but I messed that up big time!
