Love It & Hate It

My daughter is all about the latest trends. All summer long she has been transforming her bedroom from a "kid room" to a "teen room"....she is only 10 BTW. Every time I think we are done she wants to do something else. She is now to the point where she is undoing or redoing things we just did at the beginning of summer. It's driving me nuts. I guess rolling clothing racks are a thing right now. Cause my 10 year old daughter needs her bedroom to look like she is living in an NYC loft or something....whatever. She suggested to me that we just rip out the custom closet her Dad built for her with shelving, a hanging bar and shoe racks so she can put her dresser in there to have space for a clothing rack in her room. I told her to please NEVER mention that idea to her Dad cause it would really hurt his feelings. Anyway, I woke up from my nap the other day to find that she was working on some new decor for her room. Guess it is a thing to paint old records and hang them on your wall.....love it. But then when I saw the records she picked out of all the crap garage sale records we have.....hate it! We have probably 50 random records we have collected over the years and she decided to go with The Police and The Rolling Stones. Then to add insult when she paints The Rolling Stones record she paints it to display the B-side track, the other side of this bad boy is "It's Only Rock n Roll". WTF?!?!?! I feel like I have failed as a music loving parent. She better actually hang these bad boys or Mama is not going to be happy...............
