Tiger Balm on My Kitty

I have a friend who recently moved to the neighborhood within walking distance. For the last week we have been going for walks every other night. Yesterday we did an hour and a half and lots of it was hills. By the time I got home I was spent and my feet were killing. Jump in the pool and spa, shower up and put a nice layer of Tiger Balm (like Icy Hot) on my feet and then throw on some soft fuzzy socks to really let the hot tingly goodness soak in. A minute later I realize I need to go to the bathroom. Finish up, flush and then about 20 seconds later the tingle starts and then the burn begins. Must have gotten some on the tp and then once I used the tp....blamo! Can't figure out if the sensation is good or bad. But I know that this stuff should not be in this area. So I start reading the bottle for a warning to see that it actually expired back in 2016. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing for my predicament???? I tell myself to calm down and decided to ride it out and if it gets unbearable then I will seek medical attention. Luckily/unluckily after about 15 minutes the warm tingling went away and my Tiger was turned back into a normal Kitty.
