New Mailbox

The "Sky's Old House" to-do list is getting smaller, but is still very active. We just got to cross another thing off the list....our mailbox. When we bought the house it had what I believe is the original mailbox from the 60's. The rust on this thing was another level. We knew that we eventually wanted a nice locking mailbox but that was way down the list. As I have now learned (after being repeatedly told) you need to do things in a specific order. I always want to just get stuff done, but the hubby wants to do things correctly.....lame! So it was finally time to put in the mailbox and I was thrilled. I'm sure our mailman is thrill too cause now he doesn't have to fear tetanus just delivering our mail!
