Gaming and Hamsters

The harassment was strong yesterday about....gaming and hamsters. Yes there was work, school pick up and a power nap but then it was on! My daughter loves to play the game Among Us online with Eddie's kids. But you need 4 people to play. So yesterday she begged me until I caved to be their 4th in a hot gaming session. Yes I did take a screen shot the first time I won a round. Winning 1 out of 20 isn't bad. Then the harassment shifted focus to my 11 year old daughter wanting a hamster. I lied and told her that we knew nothing about these creatures and couldn't even have a discussion until she did a presentation to inform us about the needs and behaviors of a hamster. So she ran to her room and put together a slide show presentation to let us know how cute and fluffy they are and how much joy one would bring to her life. Not really the info I was looking for. But she did use some pretty cute pictures. I told her that Dad and I need at least the rest of the week to learn more and discuss. Hopefully she will forget by then!
