Since our home remodel that we have been working on FOREVER is basically done, now the focus is the yard! Luckily we have landscaped plenty of yards in our 20+ years of homeownership. So we have lots of ideas of what we want to do but have been putting off really getting started. The hubby started prepping for our 100 foot long retaining wall but then the rain came and now it's like if we don't speak of it the project doesn't exist. So for some motivation I pulled up some pictures of our completed yard we did in Escondido back in 2009. We moved into this house right at the end of 2007 and the backyard was 100% dirt. Besides pouring the concrete patio the hubby did EVERYTHING himself. I loved the pergola with swing and veggie bed that he built. I miss that yard and beautiful view of the avocado trees but not the summer time heat!
