Girl Scout Cookie Season for 2021 is slowly coming to a close. If you don't know a Girl Scout you might not even have been aware we are in cookie season. Most people know it's cookie season when the girls are coming to your door or bugging you outside the grocery store. But due to COVID none of that was allowed this year. So unless you are a friend or family member of a Girl Scout you might not have even gotten your Thin Mint fix this year.
Back in 2018 my daughter and another girl from her troop were working the door at the Von's in PB right off Garnet. It was like 9 in morning and of course I am counting down the minutes till our shift is over and I can go enjoy my weekend. All of a sudden I see this big hulking man walking out of Von's with a cart allegedly (he asked me not to get it in the picture so I'm going to say allegedly for his image) FULL of wine. So it was hard not to notice cause his cart was rattling as he walked out the door. Looks like someone was going to be having a party! Anyway, I recognize that it is John Cena. So I get my courage up and ask him if he wouldn't mind taking a picture with the Girl Scouts. He says yes and pushes the cart out of the picture. The guy was super cool and even dropped $100 to Operation Thin Mint to send cookies to the troops. Of course the girls had no clue who this massive man was that I was making them take a picture with...........
