Getting Pierced

Yesterday was a big day for my daughter. At 11 years old I took her to get her ears pierced. The hubby and I decided when she was little that we would let her decided for herself if she wanted to ever get her ears pierced. And then if/when she made that decision we would use it as a motivation (aka force her to be a good kid). Once she told us about a year ago she wanted her ears pierced we said that she had to do really good on her next big test and we would take her. Well then the world shut down! So here we are a year later getting her ears pierced. And yes she has gotten A's on her last few big tests. Since we were actually out and about we decided to have lunch at the mall before the big event. I forgot how nice it felt to order and enjoy a fancy cocktail!
