Almost Our House

I was taking the doggie for a long walk the other day when I passed a house that we had toured and considered buying before we bought Sky's Old House. The homes were very similar and in about the same condition. Even though this house had a better view it lacked privacy and the big yard we were looking for. It blew my mind when I walked by to see that they have completely knocked it down and it looks like they are going to be building a big-ass home. Wish we would have had the money to do that to our house. But I guess there is some pride and history that goes into restoring an old home....at least that is what I tell myself.  I'll keep you updated on the progress of our "almost house". 🙂
