The hubby and I have always had it in our master remodel plan to put a Granny Unit in our backyard. With us recently refinancing with rates being so amazing and then the passing of my Dad, it has accelerated our plan. We have been talking with this one company who make pre-fab ADUs and just trucks them to your house and drops them on your land. The thing we love is that they don't look like pre-fab/"mobile" type homes that you normally see. They look like modern mini homes. They have a model unit on display in LA so on Saturday we drove back and forth from LA just so we could tour this bad boy. That drive was the last thing I wanted to do but if we are going to spend this much money we better be sure we really like it. Here are a few pictures I took of the unit.......
