Doing Good

It feels so good to do something for others. My daughter's Girl Scout Troop has been working on their Bronze Award project for months now. They have been planning, collecting donations, taking inventory, and making cards all in preparation to assemble and donate Baby Bags to Miracle Babies. The plan was to invite the girls over to my house for a last minute bag assemble meeting, but once my daughter got sick it shut all that down. Luckily she is fine and it was just a cold, but that left me, her and the hubby to assemble 100 bags yesterday. We made a legit assembly line and got them done faster than expected. Felt great when we were done and it made me think that I really want to volunteer and give back to the community more..........
