My Dad's Letter To The Editor

I met with my Mom over the weekend to go over a few things for my Dad's service that is coming up in a few weeks. Even though my Dad passed in February we waited a bit to do the service hoping that family would feel more comfortable attending due to the pandemic. My Mom showed me something cool and shared a story I had never heard before about my Dad. Even though my Dad was highly educated and a bit conservative he was always labeled a "hippy" back in the day due to his white guy afro and beard. I guess back in the mid-60's when he was in the service he took issue with a cartoon published in the military paper. So he decided to write a letter to the editor to share his thoughts on people who stereotype a person based on hair growth. Love this so much.........
