My Daughter's First Concert

It finally happened, I took my daughter to her first concert. As somebody who loves live music, I have always dreamed of this day. My dream was a little different than reality. In my dream we loved the same band and decided to go to a show together. In the dream we would have great seats close to the front and we would dance and sing all night. But the reality was me driving her and some friends to see a group I have never heard of, and I stood in the back of the room trying my best not to embarrass anyone just by existing. Saturday night we went to the sold out Cavetown show at Soma. I stood in the very back of the room with a bunch of other parents doing the exact same thing as me. Luckily I ran into some parent friends from the neighborhood as well as some really nice P1s. I ended up really liking the music and the kids had an amazing time. I did win a few cool points when I went and bought the girls some merch while the band was playing. Good time had by all...........
