Over the weekend I got together with my family and we had a beautiful Easter lunch on Lake San Marcos. It reminded me of back in the early 2000's I lived in Escondido and my parents lived in San Marcos. Any town my Mom lives in she is always super involved and volunteering in some sort of organization. My Mom would always help fundraise each year at the San Marcos street fair by helping with the Kenducky Derby. I would go down to visit and support her no matter how silly I felt watching rubber ducks race.......
