What a fun night my daughter and I had last night. We went to Belmont Park with some new neighbors. They have a golf cart, so they picked us up and we took their golf cart over to Belmont Park. The kids rode a bunch of rides and we walked around. After we went and had sushi in PB and on the way home we noticed a dog just walking down the street by himself. Lots of people walk their dogs off leash in PB, so I was expecting to see a human standing somewhere close by. But after we looked around and saw nobody, we pulled the golf cart over and started our mission. I took a picture cause I was going to post on the Nextdoor app but before I can post I hear some noise coming from a nearby house. I go up to the house and ask if they are missing a dog, they say no but say they think the dog lives a few more houses down and around the corner. As I walk up to the house with the dog following me, another dog runs up for the opposite direction and meets me at the end of the driveway. Now I have two dogs that have just been running up and down the street. After yelling some awkward "anybody home" "hello" into the door of an open garage/workshop, an old guy comes out and it is his dogs who slipped out the open door. He thanked me and as I walked away I heard him giving the dogs a talking to for escaping..........
