Father's Day was nice and low key for the hubby just as he requested. He had a nice breakfast and opened his presents. He got all VW stuff. Was stoked to find the Marvel Double Cab collectable. Normally all VW collectables are either the Bug or the Bus. Since the hubby has a Double Cab I thought this was a cool find. After opening the presents we decided to go for a quick swim and soak in the spa. As we are trying to relax, our sweet little dog Nugget runs by with a bird in his mouth. We finally coax Nugget inside with treats to get him away from the murder scene. Any other day of the year the hubby is picking up the dead bird. But on Father's Day I had already told him he wasn't going to be doing any chores. I got a bag AND a glove and cleaned up the corpse before I let the murder loose in the yard. What a day!
