Green Thumb & Broken Back

For the last 6 months that hubby and I have slowly been collecting plants to put in the corner of our yard. We have this little corner area that has just been dirt for the last two years. When we bought the house there was this really cool tree that we wanted to try to keep. But after a year of living with it we realized that between the roots, leaves and bird poop it just wasn't going to work. The plan was to put in some citrus trees and then some tropical plants. After digging what felt like 8 million holes, we planted all of the plants and trees. We still have spots for two more fruit trees and some ground cover and then we are done. But it was awesome to already see the butterflies and birds that are coming to that part of our yard. Can't wait to see what it looks like a year from now.....
