It was late summer 2009 and I felt and looked a zillion years pregnant. Even though I wasn't due till November I was already getting people asking me if there were twins in there. Comments like that always make a lady feel good! It's funny how social norms about commenting and touching someone's body goes out the window when a person is pregnant. Anyway, this was the point when our photographer friend suggested we do our maternity photoshoot before I got any puffier. Since we were living in Escondido at the time we took some of my favorite pictures ever at Kit Carson Park.....
