My 4th of July

Yesterday was such a beautiful day! It started by me and my daughter heading down to the Bird Rock 4th of July parade. We have gone every year (that we've been in town on the 4th) since 2013. It's one of my favorite things. The first few years I actually teared up cause I was so overwhelmed with the feeling of community and family. This years theme was Top Gun, had to get my annual selfie with our friend who dresses up as Captain America and the biggest hit the year on the parade route was the crew that recreated the Top Gun volleyball scene. After some snow cones and lunch...yes in that order, we just hung out playing in the pool all afternoon. We did something new this year, watched the fireworks from the roof of our house. We saw so many different fireworks shows, it was awesome............
