Planting Trees

I never thought I would love gardening so much. As a kid it was the worst when my parents would make me work out in the yard with them on weekends. Now working in the yard is my favorite pastime. I can't wait for retirement so I can make a schedule where all I do everyday is tend to my yard and garden. Luckily the hubby is as big of fan of working in the yard as I am. We make a great team, especially when he does all the heavy lifting!  🙂 We have this front courtyard where one day we plan to put a bunch of veggie beds and other goodies. But for now we still need to keep the area mainly clear because of the upcoming ADU construction. We felt the need to at least put some greenery on the outer edge of the courtyard while we wait for the master plan......
