Girlfriends Dinner

Last night was so perfect! I got to have dinner with one of my longtime girlfriends while watching the sunset over the ocean. My friend Susan lives up in Escondido so we normally meet up for dinner about every two months someplace between Encinitas and Del Mar. Since I'm still eating only soft foods I figured Italian would be perfect. We had dinner in Del Mar and as I remind myself a few times a year we talked about how lucky we are to live in paradise and how most of the country saves up all year just to vacation in beautiful costal spots like San Diego. It was a great night, only bummer was limiting the drinks and having to wrap up early cause it was a school night.
