I had a moment of gratitude this weekend while sitting in my backyard. I've never had a tropical backyard but I've always wanted one. So when it came time to work on the yard for our home remodel it was not even a question what type of plants we needed. After working on the house and yard for the last few years, the yard is finally starting to fill in. I found myself staring at this Bird of Paradise for about 5 minutes just thankful for it's beauty and that it is part of my yard..........
