Family Challenges

About once a month we will do a family challenge. This normally involves painting, a board game or a puzzle but this past one was Legos. We have become regulars at the Birch Aquarium which also means we are becoming very familiar with their gift shop. Last time we were there I saw these cute little Lego type boxes and suggested that we do a family Lego challenge. My daughter was all about it and so she picked the jellyfish, and I went with the seahorse for the hubby and I to work on as a team. OMG....why did I not look past the cute picture on the front of the box. These things were so many tiny pieces! We were going to do this as a one night fun project but it turned into a 3 session challenge. We finally finished and the daughter won by completing her jellyfish faster that the hubby and I could complete our seahorse. But they both turned out amazing and I'm proud of us for finishing them..........
