The family is currently on high alert anytime we let the new puppy out to go to the bathroom at night. We let her out in our front little courtyard area. I use to think that it was a safe protected are from predators but I didn't consider the ones that come from above. Ellie was only about 5 pounds when we first got her. She is about 7 pounds now which makes me feel a bit better even though we caught this guy hanging around checking out our front courtyard the other night......
