Our New Tree

We were super bummed to hear that the Christmas Tree lot that we've gone to for the last 10 years has closed. It was a fun little tradition where we would go to the lot, my daughter and I would drink apple cider and stuff mini candy canes in our pockets while the hubby inspected each tree complaining on how much more expensive they were than the year before. Good times! But it turns out that the lot is no more and has been sold. So for the first time we have gone fake tree. It looked pretty pathetic when we first put it together. But after fluffing out the branches for a good half hour I think it is beautiful. And now every year I will get to hear from the hubby what a good purchase this is and how we could have bought one real tree for the same price as this tree which will last us for years and years................
