The next two days Rock 105.3 and the other iHeart SD station will be raising money for Rady Children's Hospital. We are so lucky to have them in San Diego and they wouldn't be able to do the things they do without the support of the community. Every year that we get to help them raise money is a privilege. But this year is extra special because my family has been spending some time at Rady this past year and will be regular visitors of the Rheumatology Department for the next few years. I don't want to go into details because I will cry, I'm tearing up just typing this. But I am so thankful that we are now in good hands and my daughter is getting the attention she needs. She is going to be fine, but you know how emotional it can be when you are talking about your kid's health. My daughter's new favorite bit is to take my ID badge that they give you when you visit, and she likes to stick it to the roof of the car when I am not looking. I will then discover it there days later and laugh. Here is the one currently on the inside roof of my car.
