Somehow the adorable baby sea lion made it all the way from the ocean onto the middle of a busy highway. California Highway Patrol (CHP) received a call that said a sea lion was in distress on Highway 101 and at first they didn't believe it. Turns out the baby was more than ready to be rescued as it hopped right into the back of the patrol car!
The sea lion was taken to the Peninsula SPCA for treatment and the vet there said that it likely got lost on its way back from a nearby creek.
