Harvey Weinstein has tested positive for the coronavirus after recently starting his 23-year prison sentence for rape and sexual assault. The former film industry mogul, who turned 68 last Thursday, told Rikers Island prison staff when he was admitted that he thought he had the virus.
Prison officials have confirmed that a number of inmates have tested positive for the virus. Weinstein is now being isolated at Wende Correctional Facility in Western New York.
