Women Warned Not To Use Electronic Toothbrush As Vibrator

Electronic toothbrush for pleasure?

Electronic vibrators are becoming popular as self-pleasuring devices, but doctors say that this latest trend can cause serious damage to a women's delicate vulva area.

The whole concept seems to have taken off after an episode of "Orange is the New Black," when one of the characters finds an electronic toothbrush inside a box of cereal.

Anne Henderson, a British gynecologist, told the UK's Sun Newspaper that it's definitely NOT a good idea, “This interesting new trend, as with many similar developments, can potentially be very harmful."

Henderson warns that "The structure and shape of the toothbrush, regardless of which part is used, could potentially injure, lacerate or cause trauma to the delicate vulva area, particularly the clitoris, especially if one of the more aggressive cleaning heads is used."
