New Futuristic Protective Suit Features Air Filters and Drink Canisters

Check out photos of the prototype to what some are calling a cross between hazmat suits worn in "Outbreak" and Mr. Freeze's outfit in "Batman and Robin," the Micrashell features a space age helmet, its own filtration system and even LED accent lights. Production Club, the California company who developed the Micrashell suit, said on Instagram that "Micrashell allows the user to see clearly through a protective shield, breathe safely through a filtration system, drink, vape, have sex and even charge their phone."

On their website Production Club explains that Micrashell as a socially responsible solution to allow people to interact in close proximity, especially for nightlife, and live events like concerts and sporting events.

To date, only a prototype of the suit has been created, so no word yet on availability date or price.

Suit Specs: Air-tight top suit + hybrid soft+hard helmet made of tactical, high performance cut resistant fabric and developed for durability, endurance and easy disinfecting procedures. Main materials based on UHMWPE fabrics and lightweight film composite, including sealed sewed patterns and ornaments as well as cordura inserts.This offshoot of a hazmat suit contains two lithium-ion cell battery systems for uninterrupted active operation and are easy charge and swap when discharged (18650 type batteries).
